2 Yard Hammerfest

The discs were unable to get a team togehter for the "One Yard Hammerfest" last year, but they got it together for the "2 Yard Hammerfest" this year. We're combining the handlers from old ESU alumni team with the speed and recievers of the recent Western Wayne and Wallenpaupack graduates. The young and the ol... I mean not so young. Experience and energy. This should be interesting.

Tournament is Saturday April 30th. The rounds are.

R1: Vs King's College
R2: BYE
R3: vs. Montclair State
R4: vs. ESU Alumni
R5: vs. Ramapo College
R6: vs. an opponent from the other pool with a similar record

1st Tournament

‎1st tournament Slipped discs entered and they took 2nd place. With a 2 win 1 loss record, they qualified to play the championship round against Lafayette University Aflicktion. Shortly after the half the discs were down 10-5 but rallied back against Afliction to go 10-10 when time expired. The tie breaker point was a heartbreaker as Afliction took 1st and the discs took 2nd.

Still Undefeated

So far in three games the Slipped Discs remain undefeated with 2 wins over Western Wayne and one over Wallenpaupack. The latest score was 15-4 over Western Wayne. The discs are now looking to see if they can continue that streak against colleges.

Welcome Friends

Welcome to the homepage of the "Slipped Discs". This is a group of Ultimate Players and their friends that played for ESU back in the 90s. Due to love of the game, each other, and memories of our youth we came back together 11 years later for what we thought might of been one last hoorah! Funny thing is.... we're not bad. With a 5-2 win in a scrimmage game vs Western Wayne, we've decided to not go gently into the night. We may be older then the average Ultimate player, but we know each other longer then the average ultimate player and can set up a flow.
